My Best Friend

I have a best friend, and her name is Lisa. We are in the same class at school, and we have been friends for two years. Lisa is very kind and always smiles when she sees me. We like to play together and do homework together.

One day, Lisa and I were playing with some toys at my house. My favorite toy was a new book that my uncle gave me. Lisa picked it up and said, "This looks interesting!" I told her it was a special book, and she said she would read it later.

But then Lisa accidentally dropped the book on the floor. The pages got dirty, and the cover was bent. I was very sad because I loved that book so much. Lisa saw me cry and said, "I'm really sorry, Xiao Ming. I didn't mean to break your book. Let me give you another one that I like."

Lisa went home and brought me a brand-new book the next day. It was a beautiful picture book, and she wrote her name on the first page with a heart. I was so happy! I hugged Lisa and said, "Thank you, Lisa. You are the best friend ever!"

From that day on, Lisa and I have been closer than ever. We always help each other, and we know we can rely on each other. I love Lisa very much, and I will always be her best friend.
