My Little Secret

One sunny afternoon, I was walking home from school when I noticed a small stray kitten hiding under a bush. Its fur was dirty, and its eyes were full of fear. I stopped and looked at it carefully. The kitten looked at me with big, innocent eyes, as if asking for help.

I remembered my mom often talked about the importance of helping animals. My heart softened, and I decided to take it home. That day, I became a pet owner.

At first, taking care of the kitten wasn’t easy. It needed constant attention, and I had to wake up early to feed it. But seeing it grow healthier and happier made me feel happy too. I named it "Misha," which means "little bear" in Russian.

Misha became my best friend. It followed me everywhere, even to school. My classmates loved it too, and we often played together after class. Misha’s cheerful personality made everyone smile.

But one day, I realized Misha was getting bigger and needed more space. I knew I loved it very much, but I also wanted to give it a better life. After a lot of thought, I decided to find a permanent home for Misha.

It was hard to say goodbye, but I knew it was the right thing to do. Misha went to live with a kind family who loved cats as much as I did.

This little secret taught me the joy of having a pet and the importance of responsibility. I will always remember the happy times we shared together.
