Moms English Love
Mom, you are my greatest teacher. Your love for English and your patience with me have always inspired me to learn and grow.
When I was still struggling with English, Mom would sit with me every night, correcting my essays and explaining grammar rules. Her corrections were never harsh; instead, she would gently guide me, showing me where I could improve. I remember one evening, I wrote a simple sentence: "The sun is very bright." Mom corrected it to "The sun is extremely bright," and she explained, "Use words that carry more meaning." From that moment on, I started paying attention to the richness of the English language.
Mom not only taught me English through my homework but also shared her own love for reading. She would read me stories before bed, and her voice would paint a vivid picture in my mind. She taught me about different cultures through the stories we read together, and I fell in love with the world of books because of her.
Sometimes, when I felt frustrated with my progress, Mom would say, "Don't worry, you'll get there soon." Her encouragement always gave me the strength to keep going. She never failed to remind me that English is not just a subject but a bridge to a wider world, a way to connect with people from different places.
Now, I am also teaching English to others, just like Mom taught me. I understand the joy of sharing knowledge and the importance of patience. Mom's love for English has not only shaped me as a learner but also as a teacher.
To Mom, thank you for your English love. You are not just my teacher, but also my hero.
The End
